Detailed Description
We head towards the Central Market, while learning about the important elements of the city of Lima that we can find in these blocks, such as the Torre Tagle Manor and San Pedro church, among others.
In a few minutes, we arrive at the Central Market, where we will be given safety and orientation indications, and then we will enter and walk through some of its aisles. Here, we will taste some seasonal fruits and learn about different products and life in the market, having the option for travelers to take the opportunity to do some shopping.
After this experience, we will go to Capon Street in Lima’s Chinatown, where we will be able to find different stores, and some restaurants among them, where we will have the opportunity to taste classic Chinese snacks – Dim Sum. Here we will learn a little more about the great history of the Chinese community in Peru and their contribution to our culture. There we will finish our tour, and if you want to come back with us to Miraflores, we will head back to the Metropolitano station.
Departure time: 9:30 AM every day.
Duration: The Foodie Tour lasts around 3 hours in total.
Starting point: Any of the Tourist Information Centers in Miraflores.
End point: Downtown Lima – unless you decide to head back to Miraflores
